Share Savings Account

Your basic membership account, a Share Account, works just like a regular savings account. Open it with just $25.00. This is your “share” in the credit union. By depositing and maintaining this minimum balance, you're eligible for all the benefits of credit union membership.

Holiday Club Account

You can open a Holiday Club to save for the holiday season. The account can be opened at any time during the year. Funds are distributed in November.

Summer Paycheck Account

This account is for employees who don't work during the summer or anyone who wants to save for summer expenses. It can be opened at any time during the year. Funds are distributed on the second Wednesday in June.

Certificates

Looking for the highest rate on your savings? SFCU share certificates are a great way to watch your savings grow. With as little as $1,000 ($500 for members 21 and younger) you can choose certificate terms from 90 days to 60 months. Share certificates guarantee you an exact return on your investment for a specified term with fixed dividend rates.

Money Market Accounts

If you want to earn more on your savings, but need easy access to your money, the SFCU Money Market is the right account for you. The rates are based on four balance tiers:

  • $0 - $9,999
  • $10,000 - $24,999
  • $25,000 - $49,999
  • $50,000 and up

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Open a Health Savings Account (HSA) to save for medical expenses, feel more secure, and get tax benefits. Plus, build savings for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses.

Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA)

It’s never too early to start saving for college and we can help you get started with a Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA).

Contributions to a Coverdell ESA are made with after-tax dollars, but earnings are tax-free for qualified education expenses – K-12 or college, private or public. If eligible, you and your family members can contribute a total of $2,000 per year, per child to a Coverdell ESA.
